The pet shop was launched as ‘The Cottage Pet Shop’ at the beginning of December 2019 and is part of The Firs Cattery. Due to the arrival of the handsome boy pictured here, (and because he spends so much time in there!), In 2022 it was only right to relaunch the shop as Paddy’s Pet Shop.
Paddy likes to sit on the desk and look out of the window ready to greet his customers!
Paddy’s Pet Shop is a relatively small pet shop catering for a range of pets including cats, dogs, birds and small animals. We have an extensive range of cat food and treats. We also stock various treats, bowls, toys, beds, bowls and cat litter.
We try and keep our prices as competitive as we can.
We also have a gift section in the shop where you can find collectable treasures such as Highbank Porcelain and Blythe Collectibles. We also have a few pieces of Zampiva Figurines, which have unique characteristics, made in Italy and not found generally in shops. They are reasonably priced considering how collectable they are, when they are gone, they are gone! The only stock we have is what is in the Shop. Other items include mugs, keyrings etc.
We also stock handmade work from local people such as Fused Glass hanging pieces, ideal as a Christmas gift and beautiful decorative bottles with LED lights in, an ideal gift!
We have beautiful handmade Sparkly cats. We have limited stock and once they are gone they are gone! Each one is unique in decoration and there are a variety of different colours and coat markings. Spoil yourself or someone who you care about!

Paddy’s Pet Shop is open at the same time as the Cattery but if you needed something just ring the bell at the gate and we will help if possible.
